Granville FD Permitting

The installation and use of certain fuel burning appliances and flammable liquid storage equipment require a permit issued by the Fire Department. Additionally, permits for blasting, fireworks display, as well as certificates for smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide detection equipment are also obtained from the Fire Department.

Permits for the open burning of brush are issued and are exempt from fees or inspection, but have restrictions which must be followed.

Please be mindful our adminstative assistant is also an EMT for the town so they may be unavailable during the hours listed above. If they are unavailable please either call and leave a message or stop by another time.

Permits are issued by the Fire Department under direction of the State Fire Marshal as provided by M.G.L. Chapter 148.
