You Can Be a Granville Firefighter or EMT
Firefighters and EMTs in the Granville Fire Department come from diverse backgrounds and situations, but they all have certain things in common: a love of the Granville community, a strong desire to give back in a meaningful way, and the shared joy of being a part of something bigger than themselves.
Who can be a Granville Firefighter or EMT?
Our volunteers are your neighbors—business owners, lawyers, engineers, fathers, mothers, retirees, middle aged, adults, young adults, and more. Being a volunteer firefighter does not require you to put aside your daily activities and obligations. Instead, as you continue to live, work, and enjoy your family and friends, the opportunity to serve as a volunteer enriches your life in meaningful ways. You are the one who will be the frontline worker—the first to respond when someone in your community needs help.
